Adding Cross Stitch
Friday, January 25th, 2008One thing I love to do to keep my hands busy so I don’t think about eating is cross stitch. I’m addicted to cross stitch!
I added a list on the side bar of projects I’ve finished this year. So far, it’s just one, but I’m pretty happy about it. See, I have about 65 projects started so finishing one, even an easy on like this one,
makes me happy.
Right now I stitch on a rotation:
1. Son’s Christmas Stocking:
This is the best picture I can find and lost the cover of the magazine I’m stitching it from. It’s an old magazine.
2. Queen of Unfinished Projects by Alma Lynne Hayden:
Here’s my progress photo:
* I work on my son’s stocking in between other projects because the kid’s FIVE and it’s time he had a stocking to match the rest of the family.
3. You are a Lifesaver to me:
And here’s how far I am:
This may go to my mother-in-law when it’s done. She loves water aerobics.
4. Witch’s Brew:
I’ve only just started this so there isn’t much progress. I’m not making it into a tea cozy like the pattern says. I just like cutsie Halloween stuff and my tablecloth at that time of year has purple in it so I want to frame this and hang it up then.
Weight loss/eating well progress: I missed the last Weight Watchers meeting because I was in the hospital with pneumonia. I don’t know how the next weigh-in will work either since I just found out that the antibiotic I’m taking can weaken your joints so exercise should be fun!
